Competition Notice
Information regarding the competition and the performance
- Relevant terms for the competition: To apply, you need to have studied for 2 – 4 years at a university or college in Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia or Estonia, and have basic programming skills. This competition is done in accordance with Universum’s GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN COMPETITIONS. The participants must reside in Sweden or in the Baltics.
- Relevant time limits: the competition will start on the 3rd of November 2023 and will continue until January 14th, 2024.
- The competition task/performance: The participants need to answer the following questions: "What is your experience in cybersecurity and AI?", "How do you see cybersecurity influenced by AI both good and bad?", "Why should you become the Tech talent of the year 2024?". The answers can include longer answers. The answers need to be provided through the specific channel created for the competition. The answers will be evaluated on creativity and conciseness. One winner will be awarded a prize.
Participants sign up by providing their contact information and providing answers to SEB's posted questions. Members will also be able to nominate a friend, whereby Universum will send an invitation to the nominated friend inviting them to the competition. If entering the competition, the nominated friend becomes a Member.
Information regarding how the winner is appointed and the criteria assessed when appointing a winner: The creativity and conciseness used when applying will be evaluated by the sponsors' jury.
Information regarding where and when the name of the winner will be published: The result of the competition will be announced in March/April 2024 at Universum Awards in Stockholm, to which the winner and finalists will be invited. The name of the winner will be published on this website and they will stay published for a maximum of three months.
*Awards/prizes: The award winner will get the chance to participate in an 8-week Summer Internship at SEB, based either in Sweden or the Baltics (depending on your place of residency). The winner will also be offered the chance to receive mentoring from different Tech departments at SEB for one whole year, ensuring the best possible start for a career in tech.
